our Grandma

Kapati is her recipe. Our family had the only movie theater in our village, and our Patti ran the concession stands where she blended her own personal recipe of Masala Chai that was loved by many for years. It has always been my father's dream to have a Chai Stand and carry the legacy. So we sat with Patti. We wrote down her recipe. We tried many different flavors until we came up with the perfect blend of cardamom, ginger, clove, and spices that were the exact way that she made it in Tirunelveli, and now we are serving it here.
